Hi from the great northwest!
Just a note to let you know that Abby arrived fine. She has been such a bundle of inquisitiveness (I think she must be part cat since she certainly has the curiosity that cats do!) We have had to put a bell on her just to keep track of where she is in our house, and even then she disappears the minute I turn my back.
She goes full throttle until she runs out of "steam", then she crashes for a nap, grabs a bite to eat and is off again. She displays the typical "terrior attitude" that we experienced with our fox terriors, so we are enjoying her very much.
I must say I wish she had better tastes----she delights in eating the slugs that I have "preserved" (killed) with salt. I guess maybe this is the Oregon version of escargot!
We are very glad that we chose her and she is blending in well with our family. She is going on her 1st of many camping trips this weekend in our 5th wheel trailer.
We are trying to get her use to her newer name of Jasper (Jazzy for short), but she is choosing not to answer to any of them periodically. She has been introduced to Dr Stephen Brown, who will be her new doc, and is on a schedule to return in 3 weeks for more follow up shots.
Thanks for helping us find such a delightful family member.....hope to send pictures in the near future. (I see her picture is on the web site.)
Thanks again,
Diane Obermeyer

Hi Susan,
Three words, WE LOVE HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Sooooo Much :)

Susan,
Tyson and Stella are getting along I just famously!
Tyson [on the left] thinks of Stella as his personal chew toy. Stella sure gives him her share of chewing. We take Tyson swimming everyday. He loves it! We get him out on a large blue floating thing and throw a Frisbee over his head. He jumps for the Frisbee catching it often.
We have been putting Stella up there on the floating thing while Tyson jumps over her running from side to side. We are teaching Stella to swim, but more importantly we are teaching her where the stairs to the pool are do she can get out if she falls in. We leave Tyson on the float. I go to the stairs. David takes Stella, puts her in the water and lets her swim to me. Tyson almost instantly jumps off the float into the water.
He usually beats her to the stairs, but sometime he meets up with her in the water. At this point her will grab her neck, head, or eat and attempt to pull Stella toward the stairs.
He will get up on the stairs and out of the water with Stella’s body part in his mouth, pulling her away from the edge of the pool. He will pull her away from the edge up to three feet away from the pool.
Tyson loves his sister!
We are having so much fun with her.

WE LIKE IT ROUGH, WE LIKE IT DIRTY, but most of all - WE LIKE WINNING!!!!!!
THE BAD NEWS BLOOD DROPS 14 - Englewood Hospital (last years champs, who until yesterday had a record of 7-0) 5.
Today MUST be Friday the 13th...because this is UNBELIEVABLE!!! **However, I believe it was the "luck of the Irish" that brought us this win. Showing up for his debut at the game, OUR NEW TEAM MASCOT; an adorable Jack Russell by the name of Jasper. Jasper took one look into everyone's eyes and suddenly the great power of fetching the ball came over us.
I couldn't believe it...I now understand, that when a ball is thrown or hit, it must be caught. Thank you Jasper for the enlightenment, and I truly hope to see you at more games!
Hi Susan!
Do I sound like a worried doggie-mom or what!
Thanks for the info. Our “little fuzzy man” is doing great! He is totally “potty trained” in the house (litter box) as well as outside.
I needed to train him inside as well because of my husbands disability, if I am not home he can not walk him for me. It worked out great. I can’t believe how smart he is!
He is teething like crazy so we desperately trying to teach him to not nibble on everyone, but he is so darn cute he pretty much gets away with anything (like the huge hole he dug up in the backyard!) We did have some issues with him eating. He would not eat the food you gave me so the vet recommended science diet which at first he wasn’t thrilled with either. My sister-in-law told me to give him Mighty Dog and he loved that.
He is very fickle, even with his treats…definitely one of my boys! They are terrible eaters too!!!
The kids are doing great with him. He sleeps thought the night and so far no major crisis. He is a favorite in the neighborhood…people have actually stop driving on the street to ask me about him! But more than anything…he is “mommy’s little boy” and boy does he know it! He knows when the kids go to sleep he gets to sit on my lap and get undivided attention…and watch out if you don’t give it to him. He doesn’t stop yapping! We are working on his barking… ”Mr. I need attention” , but it’s coming along!
He will be going to puppy school as soon as he has all his shots. We can’t believe he has only been with us for less than 2 weeks, we already feel he has been with us forever!
Thanks again for bringing him into our lives!

P.S. — Yes his name is still Gizmo! We were going to call him Scooby but Gizmo just fit him better!

Hi Susan,
Just wanted to let you know that we are very pleased with our puppy.
Our daughter renamed her Cassie and she is so cute and very good. She is the perfect pet -she is incredibly loving to us and cuddles constantly. She is also becoming more and more playful every day. Jessica and Cassie dance around the room together. I've taken some photos and will get them to you as soon as they are developed.
Thanks so much
Lisa, Kenny and Jessica Bell, Cassie

Hi,
What a smart, sweet, wonderful baby she is! This morning at 4:15am she licked my ear and when I didn't get right up she nipped my ear. So I got up and we went outside and she pooped and peed!
I love her so much. My cats look at her and wonder what is it? Roxy loves her. Our big guy, Wiley (100lb Choc Lab mix) is in love and she chases him. I'm taking lots of pictures.

Everyone is madly in love with our Lady Emma
She has started attending "Doggie Playtime" each Tuesday to get her acclimated to other pups. Unfortunately the other dogs in the playgroup are mostly larger breeds. A few Goldens, a Doberman, a collie, several Greyhounds... Emma starts out all playful and quickly becomes overwhelmed by the largeness of her new pals!!
Thanks again, we just love her.

Hi guys!
Just wanted you to know that Domino is doing just great. We love her to death. She has to be the smartest puppy ever. All housebroken. Learned to sit the first day we had her. She knows most commands. She loves everyone she encounters, people, dogs and cats. One thing is for sure, she is very active, but not crazy about walking just yet. She has a basket of toys and things for chewing and when she feels like it she goes to the basket and takes out what she wants. Just thought I'd let you know how she was doing.
