Hi Susan,
Banjo is doing great! He is getting along very well with the cat now. Sometimes I catch them on the couch together. The cat even lets him lick his ears!
Two weeks ago I took Banjo to his first schooling horse show. He loved it and thinks horses are big dogs. I will send you photos soon. Unfortunately I didn't have my digital camera. I got a picture of Banjo sitting on my friends horse Boston. He stood right on his back 16.2 hands.
This dog has no fear it's great.
Banjo was also a big hit at the pool this summer all the kids love him. He is the unofficial City of Bellaire Mascot. He also graduated from obedience school. I am waiting until he is a year old to enroll him in more classes. Meanwhile we are working on frisbee! I really love this dog
! Banjo loves people, cats, and all other dogs he is wonderful to be around. Sometimes he gets car sick but I am hoping he will out grow it soon.
Thank you again for our wonderful dog! Chris and I couldn't love him more.
Katherine
P.S. Pictures of us on website are great! We love to show off our dog!
Hi Susan,
I just wanted to give you an update on Banjo! I can hardly believe that he is a year and a half now!
We just wanted to say thank you he is a great dog and we just luuuuv him. The first year had it's moments it took exactly a year to fully housetrain him and my vet still has me ration his water sometimes, it seems he has a slight obsession with drinking water. Overall however he is a very good boy!
Banjo is obsessed with his ball or any ball for that matter, he likes to run with me in the evening and swim in the pool. Last weekend we took him to visit his "cousins" in Austin, TX and he had a blast, he runs alongside the horses and the 4-wheeler
. Chris and I were married this past June and we are in the process of buying a house with a big yard. I know Banjo will enjoy having extra space to run and play although he has done really well in our little apartment.
We hope all is well with you and your animals, we may be interested in another Jack to keep Banjo company sometime in the near future. We will let you know!
Thank you,
Katherine and Chris Stamp Banjo and Bongo(the cat)
Susan,
We have not spoken since that beautiful day in June of last year, when we fell in love with Barley (aka “Freckles”) at your farm and took him with us. Today, May 25th, is his birthday, and the occasion compelled me to write to you, his first human US mommy.
To say that Barley is doing well in his New York City home would be an understatement. Quite simply, he is the undisputed Mayor of Midtown. Our first few months with him made us the most popular dog owners on the streets, so much so that Dan and I would account for various conversation stoppages by strangers as routine and expected occurrences. And though he grew quickly (much to our chagrin), not an ounce of his charm dissipated. His new “midday mommy” – our dog walker, JoJo – is a card-carrying Barley fan, despite her usual distance toward most Jack Russells. When he smiles (you know, when he shows you his pearly whites upon your arrival from work), who can’t help but burst with joy?
Susan, our little boy Barley is more wonderful, spirited, and loving than we could have ever hoped for. Not a day goes by that Dan and I do not say to ourselves or to each other how serendipitous, how spontaneous, and how right our decision was to bring him into our lives. Thank you so much for all your love and care to our boy during his first few weeks in the US. I’m sure it pleases you to know how well he is and how much he is truly loved, by us and by every family member and friend who has ever been the lucky recipient of his steadfast kisses. He is happy. He is healthy. He is home.
Thank you.
Warmest regards,
David DeGiralamo and Dan Allen
Dear Susan,
Just wanted to let you know how truly happy Jenna & I are with Lucy (formally Princess)!! She is the Greatest little russell. We could not have asked for anything more in a puppy!!!
We are living in DC across from a "Dog Park", a park that has turned into a dog walking park due to the large amount of dogs in the neighborhood, needless to say Lucy is the talk of the town!! She has captured everyone's attention and hearts!
She loves to play with the other dogs and is completely fearless no matter how much bigger they are. She is so gentle with the little kids and babies that come over and play with her.
Jenna & I are amazed at how smart she is and how much love she gives the two of us!!! She has made the two of us so very, very happy and completed our lives!!!
We have tons of pictures to send you and will as soon as Jenna's scanner is working again. Lucy is beautiful intelligent athletic little puppy, a true testament to your breeding program. We have been promoting your website from the first weekend we received her. Everybody wants to know where we got and we they can get one too.
My parents recently saw pictures of Lucy and have heard Jenna & I bragging about her for the past month, they decided to get one. I believe my mother emailed an application. They can't wait to get one of there own.
We will get the pictures to you as soon as we can, hope all is well.
Nick & Jenna
Dear Susan,
Greetings from Rosie!!
I love her so much. She's the Queen of us all! I wanted to jokingly email you "I didn't know she had a freckle on her nose. I want a refund!"
My life and household has changed for the better because she is here. Thank you both again, and again. She's my dream dog. Hope all is well. I still like going to your website.
Fondly,
Jenette
Hi Susan,
How are you? Long time no speak. Hope all is well.
This is Mei Mei - Buku's Mom. Do you remember Buku Jr? He's still living happily in Hoboken.
Buku is such a mayor in Hoboken!!! I think at least half of Hoboken knows Buku and they all love him to death! Buku's favorite move is just walk up to people on the street and start rolling over. Anyone who walks pass him MUST stop and pet him! He's such a sweetheart!!!
I actually heard a couple of people from Hoboken got their new Jacks from you. I've attached some of his pictures for you. Bill and I check on your website all the time. I'm still working really hard to convince Bill to let me get a playmate for Buku.
Every time when you have new pups available, I always send him the link to hopefully soften him. Your pups are so smart and so easy to train. I don't think getting another puppy would be too much work, especially now I have experience with Buku.
That should make things even easier. Just wanted to drop you a line to say hi and give you some of Buku's pictures.
Good luck with your new puppies.
Regards,
Mei Mei
Hello from Omaha!
I'm sorry you were so torn about sending him away. It must be bitter-sweet sometimes in your breeding profession. I hope it'll make you feel a little better that in less than 12 hours he's very much won the hearts of my family and myself (and my vet. who says he's in wonderful shape and loves the way he looks —and my neighbor who owns a Parson's!
She also wants to know if Riley could possibly talk to her JR and let him know how to imitate his disposition!). I know the IJR is not recognized by the AKC (they'll come around someday...), The roll of film I am using is almost full, so hopefully I'll have a few pictures to send you soon.
Take care and thank you for the beautiful job you did with Riley. He is a testament of the quality, care and concern you put towards your puppies.
Very
Sincerely,
Pam Luttrell
Cooter is now 5 months old. AND WE LOVE HIM. He has become our child.
Thanks again Susan.

We are well.
I am sending several photos Roley is absolutely great. He keeps us laughing all the time. Maggae is quite a little priss and Roley just jumps into everything. He'll be running through the house with socks or yanking my plants out of the pots on the ground. Keeps us going.
We enjoy him very very much! When he tires, he is a cuddly little fellow. I enjoy that, too. Enjoy the pics! August 16th we take both pups to Breckenridge for the weekend!
Will send pics of both the dogs in the Rocky Mountains.

Dear Susan,
Well the pup made it just fine to SF airport. We had no trouble finding her. She is doing just fine. We all lover her very much and found an excellent Vet for her care.
Her last set of shots are scheduled in two weeks, and we all are outside and enjoying this California weather!! I am very impressed how responsive she is to our family ie. the baby. She is allowed lots of time with her and has learned Cameron is not a toy to chew, also the pup is comfortable with her grabbing her back and ears, with supervision.
She has become my little shadow throughout the day and she is very gentle with me. Dan (my husband) and Garett (my son) are complete wild cats with her and they play every chance they get. We spent Easter and our parents home in the country. They have a black lab about 6yrs old and a new lab pup about the same age as Sheila. She played all day and wouldn’t give the other dogs a break! She did spend the rest of the evening fast asleep.
Thanks again for the pup and the easy transition. I'll send you some pictures from my Mothers computer camera real soon. Very happy to know both of you and thankful for our new addition!!
Love and wishes,
Janee and the Corletts
I had the occasion to visit a "mall" pet store over the weekend and it compelled me to offer a letter of reference to Violet Meadow Farm.
I found the experience at the mall quite upsetting, and I couldn't wait to get back home to my Jack, Mo that I adopted from you. I've come to expect pretty high standards of things in my dealing with things at work and in life in general.
My experience with you and your associates has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Always there for a question, and very supportive of a tough period I went through. Who could ask for anything more.
It's obvious in my visits to your farm that you have the best and provide the best for your puppies. It's without any hesitation at all I would highly recommend Violet Meadow Farm for anyone looking for a Jack Russell.
Thanks so much!

Susan,
Beth and I picked up Monty (a.k.a. "Tiger") from you 16 months ago and the love affair continues! Our big concern when we were adopting him was how he would react to having a baby brother or sister.
Susan said the shorties are great with kids and he was right. Our daughter Lily was born 11/29/02 and Monty just loves his new sister, is very gentle and can't kiss her enough! While we have our hands full right now, I suspect we'll be getting Monty a four-legged brother or sister from you in the future.
Happy New Year!

Just wanted to say hi,
and I hope you had a great new year. Kylara is a happy healthy 13-week old puppy now. She is so smart, she can fetch, and come, and she will sit most of the time on command. She will start obedience, puppy kindergarten in two weeks.
She is great with people and other dogs, my vet just loves her, he already asked if I was going to breed her when she's old enough. Thanks again, she's a great little fuzz ball.

Hi Susan,
I just wanted to tell you again - thanks for sending me Susie (aka Taran).
She is THE most wonderful puppy I have ever seen. The handler at the airport just kept saying - "now I LIKE THAT dog!". It was like he couldn't believe how cute she was - and neither could I!
As I was walking out with her wrapped in a big bath towel, everyone was oooo'ing and aaaahhhh'ing. She has such a wonderful personality. When we got home she kept trying to get into the kennel that came with her - so I opened the door - she ran in, dug around a bit, and came out with a pigs ear! She chews on that thing every chance she gets - in between giving me hugs and kisses!
It's amazing how quick she warmed up to her new home. The funniest thing so far is when she sees her reflection in a full length mirror I have in my bedroom...she makes funny noises and starts jumping around having a grand old time! I do love her Susan - it's obvious she's going to fill my home and life with happiness and joy - and a thrill a minute - for hopefully a very long time.
