If you are interested in being considered for a Jack Russell Terrier puppy and in placing a reservation on one of our next available puppies, please send us an email with your answers to our questions below.

At VMF, our success is not in the sale of a puppy but, in creating a situation where everyone lives “happily ever after” for many years ahead. In order to do so, we do our best to ensure that the right puppy goes to the most appropriate home.

We go to great lengths to qualify our new pup families. Please help us to do so by answering our following questions fully.

We want you to understand that you are about to make a 12 to 20 year commitment. You are not just “getting a dog”, you are adding a new family member! We’re here to help you realize the joys and difficulties of pet ownership.

We pride ourselves on our excellent Jack Russells and common sense policy.

IrishJacks/Violet Meadow Farm is fully committed to making your IrishJack puppy the best it can possibly be. For the entire life of your pet, VMF will be available to answer any questions that you have about your Jack Russell.

This is an agreement between IrishJacks/Violet Meadow Farm and You, our Applicant.

1. We guarantee you a healthy puppy and then a healthy dog.

Although your new Irish Jack Russell has been checked by a veterinarian and is on a vaccine and worming program, there are still instances where a puppy might become ill.

We will pay associated vet bills for a puppy that has been diagnosed with an infectious disease 14 days from the date of purchases and two years for a congenital or hereditary defect up to the purchase price of the dog. If you wish after a veterinarian determines that your puppy is ill, you may choose another puppy and we will reimburse you for you associated vet costs up to this point. If your vet determines that your puppy is ill you may immediately return the puppy to us for a replacement puppy.

If there is any cost above $750 we require the second opinion of another veterinarian. We will meet and exceed New Jersey’s Puppy Lemon Law.

2. See a vet within three business days after receiving your puppy.

We want your family to be sure of the health of your new Jack Russell.

If anything is wrong please call us immediately and we will do everything we can to help you.

Of course, routine veterinary and health care for life of the dog is your responsibility. The Veterinarian will put your puppy on a regular vaccine schedule and checkup schedule.

3. You guarantee that you will train and care for your dog.

Our IrishJacks have the most amazing dispositions, but even the most laid-back dog can turn into hand full in the wrong hands. If you are inexperienced to training Jack Russells, agree to attend obedience school to the basic training level.

Our dogs are also known for their long and healthy life spans. This is only assured with regular vet care. If you need help find a good vet in your area we may be able to guide you.

Our Reservation Policy

1. We refund a reservation deposit within five days for any reason.

After that your reservation deposit is redeemable on a puppy forever. We will, at our discretion, issue a cash refund in extraordinary circumstances.
