A short description of your IrishJack: Piper is full of energy and is always looking for something to do. She loves her agility class and classmates. I think she would like to try some earthdog activities because she loves to go in and under just about everything. She may be small, but has a huge attitude. As someone once told me...Dog's...especially Jacks do not know how to use a mirror so they really do not know their true size.     
A favorite story: Piper loves to play in the puddles after a rain shower. She starts by assuming the play position and then racing around the puddle. After several rounds she will start digging until she creates a mud puddle for herself. It ends up looking just like Hershey"s syrup. This new substance does something to her little brain because she becomes obsessed (or possessed) by the gooey texture. One day after a rain I did not see her in the yard. I had just put on my favorite butter colored sweater. I went out and called for her to come inside the house.   Suddenly she was charging at me, mud was flying everywhere. She was in hot pursuit of me as I was for the door. I could not outrun this little 9 pound mud ball. She got me and I had to get a new sweater.

SONNY! is alot of things.......ALMOST 3yrs old, BUT never was a chewer.   I Praise the Lord on that one!  I always gave him things to chew on, and never gave him the opportunity to chew on shoes, socks, because I always made it a point to put them up.  That was learned the hard way, when I went ot put on my favorite leather thong sandles, and he had chewed the most important leather piece that goes between the toes.  I wasn't happy, and SONNY! was like " tasted good"  He was over a year when he had done that. Beach Balls are another story.....it is worth the Buck to watch him run and play, and it is the best 10 minute " Let's burn off some energy....YOU THINK????"
 
I have to start to stock up for the winter....rollin in the snow is a whole different ball game!

I don't know how the other IJR are but.....Wednesday is garbage pickup and Miss Lucy stops and pee's everywhere the truck stops and leaves a little "garbage juice" behind.  It is so funny.  She actually "runs out" of pee and squats as if something is coming out.LOL. She is just to much and that is why we love her sooooo

It is amazing all the crap she picks up but she usually just plays with it, not this time... Isn't it, she scared the hell out of us!!!  She is so quick too.  She is 110% back except being able to jump up on the coach.. The staples can't be removed until 8/27 so no baths till then.  So far she has been pretty good with not bothering with them but it is actually a good thing if she licks them, the saliva helps the healing.  She is on to us with the daily regimen of pills, I had to go to petsmart yesterday to get those pill pockets, what an awesome thing, she loves them.  That is too funny about Dobby; I would love to see a picture of that!  Thans so much for the good wishes

  Oh my God!!!  That is really scary...........I would be freaked out if that ever happened to Dobby.  I hope she is doing better and that she gets well soon!!!  When will she get the staples out??  Does she lick them or try to bite them??  When Dobby had stitches we had to put baby onezies to keep him from getting the stitches out.......Anyway, hope she is doing alot better and hopefully not in a funk!!!

DeadShe has outdone herself this time.  Last Tuesday she managed to swallow a piece of rubber unbeknownst to us until the vomiting started.  We watch her carefully but she is quick!!!! We took her to the vet Wed am and an x-ray revealed a piece of something stuck in her intestine measuring about an inch in the shape of a triangle.  You could imagine the fear we felt when the dr said it was stuck and she needed immediate surgery. OMG, we almost died.. We went to visit her 3 times a day while she was in the hospital and she was released on Friday with a ton of medications and 8 metal staples in her belly... Omg, i am really sorry!  Thats terrible!  If you ask me i think that they should reimberse you for everything!  I can never believe how people can do something like thatAngryAngryAngryAngry  Thats so frustrating.  I really hope it gets better soon!

Hey ,
Had my Puppy at the vet as i said i only bought him on SAT, the Vet told me he had mange/scabies Dead that the person who had the puppys and mother must have kept them in a really unheigenic   enviroment, I rang the person i bought the pup from and they told me that the vet was wrong and told me i could bring the pup down and they would give me back my money and they know i have 2 children and that i couldnt do that, today i payed another 100 to the vet for consult/antibiotics and antiinflamatories not only that i had to go to the doctor and get creams for my children as a precaution as they have been handling them and its very contagious, Im not sure legally how i stand with this, But i believe if you buy a pup and pay money for him he should be in good health and i should not have to pay an extra 200 treating an infection that came with him and also the rish of scabies to my children, im so angry i really am i believe they should remburse me for vet bills or for the dog ..WHAT DOES ANYONE THINK OF THIS ??
