Bentley

Bentley

Bentley is doing great. He is now 4 1/2 months old and we will neuter him around the first of the year. I did propose to Susan that she could use him for breeding if she liked. His tempermant is so wonderful and he is a beautiful animal. More specifically, the vet said his teeth are great!   Hope you had a nice Christmas. Santa was good to us. Bentley is doing fabulous and was just neutered this week....

Brady

Brady

I am finally getting in touch with you…time flies these days!  So we adopted Frosty and did change his name to Brady. He is right at home and pretty much in a routine now.  Definitely lots of energy but one of my other dogs is as well…and he is very funny..easily amuses himself running laps around the house.  Today was the first day I walked the 3 of them by myself and it was like walking a Shetland and a thoroughbred….lol  I...

Buster Conway

Buster Conway

Thanks for the certificate.  I am happy to report that Buster is doing GREAT.  We were able to get his new brother, Bear, within two months of Buster’s arrival and they have become a strong team.  Buster is an extremely sweet little guy.  Bear is a smooth coat collie bred at Conway Arabians (my husband’s brother) and Bear’s father, Noble, was best in class at Westminster a few years ago.  So far, the doggies don’t even care about each other’s breeding backgrounds! ...

Rob and Ron & Emma

Rob and Ron & Emma

Everyone is madly in love with our Lady Emma. She has started attending “Doggie Playtime” each Tuesday to get her acclimated to other pups. Unfortunately the other dogs in the playgroup are mostly larger breeds. A few Goldens, a Doberman, a collie, several Greyhounds… Emma starts out all playful and quickly becomes overwhelmed by the largeness of her new pals!! Thanks again, we just love her. Vivian and Gizmo

Vivian and Gizmo

Hi Susan! Do I sound like a worried doggie-mom or what! Thanks for the info. Our “little fuzzy man” is doing great! He is totally “potty trained” in the house (litter box) as well as outside. I needed to train him inside as well because of my husbands disability, if I am not home he can not walk him for me. It worked out great. I can’t believe how smart he is! He is teething like crazy so we desperately...

Michael and David in Arizona

Michael and David in Arizona

Susan, Tyson and Stella are getting along I just famously! Tyson [on the left] thinks of Stella as his personal chew toy. Stella sure gives him her share of chewing. We take Tyson swimming everyday. He loves it! We get him out on a large blue floating thing and throw a Frisbee over his head. He jumps for the Frisbee catching it often. We have been putting Stella up there on the floating thing while Tyson jumps over her running...

Kerry & Dublyn

Kerry & Dublyn

Hi Susan, I just wanted to write to tell you how much we love little Dublyn! She’s made quite a difference in our lives. There are adjustments, but LOTS of joy, too! She makes us smile & laugh with her antics and expressions. On Tuesday, I was raking leaves in the backyard and she really enjoyed running through or burrowing in the piles of leaves, as you will see on one of the photos I’ve attached. When I would laugh,...

Hi to all at Violet Meadow Farm, I hope you are well. We are just LOVING Millie to bits. She is such a sweetheart and really so smart and well-behaved. She is well on her way to becoming housebroken, even though we were just getting our routine down when the blizzard hit! Who tries to housebreak a puppy in the middle of a blizzard!?! Just now, as I was sitting here writing this, she went to the door and whined...

Steve & Bo

Steve & Bo

Hi guys!!, Bo arrived safe and sound. He settled into his new home rather quickly. Our two sons stayed up nearly an hour past their bedtimes to play with Bo and help make him feel right at home. It’s 11pm now and he’s still going strong. He’s everything we hoped for and more. Thank you so much. We are all ecstatic about our new addition to the family. We’ll send some photos to you soon - Steve

Letter home to Mom from Opal

Letter home to Mom from Opal

Letter home to Mom, The humans typed this for me as I can’t quite read and write yet…. Mom, Life is great living with Donner, Tonya and Ruby. The ride home was a long one and I was very good. Donner stopped about every hour or two so that I could romp and play and do my potty things. On one stop we even got Pizza. I sure seemed to be popular as lots of people greeted me where ever...

Todd Robbins in Plano, TX

Todd Robbins in Plano, TX

Hi Susan, I just wanted to tell you again – thanks for sending me Susie (aka Taran). She is THE most wonderful puppy I have ever seen. The handler at the airport just kept saying – “now I LIKE THAT dog!”. It was like he couldn’t believe how cute she was – and neither could I! As I was walking out with her wrapped in a big bath towel, everyone was oooo’ing and aaaahhhh’ing. She has such a wonderful personality....

Andy & Beth in Rhode Island

Andy & Beth in Rhode Island

Susan, Beth and I picked up Monty (a.k.a. “Tiger”) from you 16 months ago and the love affair continues! Our big concern when we were adopting him was how he would react to having a baby brother or sister. Susan said the shorties are great with kids and he was right. Our daughter Lily was born 11/29/02 and Monty just loves his new sister, is very gentle and can’t kiss her enough! While we have our hands full right now,...

Joshua Fischel & Mozart

Joshua Fischel & Mozart

I had the occasion to visit a “mall” pet store over the weekend and it compelled me to offer a letter of reference to Violet Meadow Farm. I found the experience at the mall quite upsetting, and I couldn’t wait to get back home to my Jack, Mo that I adopted from you. I’ve come to expect pretty high standards of things in my dealing with things at work and in life in general. My experience with you and your...

Janee and the Corletts

Dear Susan, Well the pup made it just fine to SF airport. We had no trouble finding her. She is doing just fine. We all lover her very much and found an excellent Vet for her care. Her last set of shots are scheduled in two weeks, and we all are outside and enjoying this California weather!! I am very impressed how responsive she is to our family ie. the baby. She is allowed lots of time with her and...
