Violet Meadow Farms is owned and operated by Susan V. Sarao, a former owner/exhibitor of champion Akitas. She has exhibited at such venues as the Westminster Kennel Club at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Since 1991, Susan has been dedicated to loving, raising, training and competing with the shortie Irish Jack Russell Terriers.

Her goals are to match the best pups with the best people and to set our clients up for success with their new pups. She has helped our clients live successfully with their IrishJacks and is always ready to help our clients at a moments notice.

Her years of experience with the IrishJack has given her the an excellent perspective on the temperaments of her dogs and how to choose the best pup that fits with our clients' life.

Keith Butler - the computer guy

Keith is VMF's webmaster, photographer and proud father to VMF's Zosia, VMF's Henry and VMF's Bell

He was a news photographer and journalist and has discovered that since photographing our IrishJacks that he doesn't want to shoot much else!

Susan discovered him in a small town in New Jersey when he was attracted by a small puppy in her purse (Elvis's Sherman Oatey). After talking for hours, Susan snapped him up and he has now worked happily for VMF for four years.

Keith has had many pups over his lifetime, growing up with Golden Retrievers and having German Shepherds in his adulthood. Pictured below is the late Ethan and the early Zosia.

He had always thought that Jack Russells were crazy and never imagined that he would work with them. He was blown away on his first visit to the farm when he discovered that there are wonderful, calm IrishJacks!

He says that his most singular moment in life was watching his little girl, Zosia, give birth.

He has taken an interest in veterinary science and is happy to answer any questions about our website, our photos or any veterinary matters.

He is available for family photos with your IrishJack at affordable rates.

He now lives with his three Irish Jack Russells in Harlem, New York City. He can be seen in Penn Station on odd occasions strung up with Irish Jack Russells!

You can email him directly at keith@irishjacks.com.
